Introduction of Geum aleppicum extract


Geum aleppicum, commonly called Yellow Avens or Common Avens is a flowering plant native to most of the temperate Northern Hemisphere, from eastern Europe across Asia and North America.
It is a herbaceous perennial plant growing to 1 m tall with pinnate leaves. The flowers are 2 cm diameter, yellow, with five to seven toothed petals.
Description: Whole plant containing tannin 16.8%, and that the roots and stems of tannin 13.02%, 11.15% of the content. Inflorescence containing flavonoids 1.94% (dry weight), stems and leaves no flavonoids, but containing carotene. Seed Oil 23.05% of fat, of the dry. Containing aromatic root of bitterness and volatile oil (0.4%), oil major components for eugenol (eugenol).
